About Us
At Alkabox Studios, we are an innovative and dynamic content creation company with a rich history rooted in storytelling and visual art. Our name is inspired by a unique family legacy—my grandparents, who were pen pals, exchanged letters and portrait photos between Cape Town and Johannesburg for five years before they met in person. When they finally did, they discovered that they had both been using the same German-made Alka Box camera. This serendipitous connection became the foundation for the name of our company.
Inspired by a childhood surrounded by photography and videography, thanks to my father’s passion for creative projects, Alkabox Studios started as a hobby and grew into something much more. Today, while running an architectural firm alongside Alkabox Studios, we’ve found that many elements from both industries overlap, enhancing the services and expertise we offer.
